In 1995 he joined the Association of Collective Investment Institutions and Pension Funds, which he has chaired since June 2015. As such he is also Chairman, Vice-Chairman or member of the Boards and Committees of EFAMA (European Funds and Asset Management Association), Pensions Europe, FIAP (International Federation of Pension Administrators), FIAFIN (Ibero-American Federation of Mutual Funds) and the CEOE, representing the Spanish institutional investment industry.
